Storm4 are partnered with a prominent and well-funded AgTech company located in the North East of the United States. They are looking to grow exponentially and bring in a highly experienced General Manager to oversee a large-scale facility of Hydroponic Greenhouses.

Responsibilities:

• The GM will control production and manufacturing to ensure policies and procedures are followed in the following areas: Food and Employee Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering.
• Hit annual budget targets while building a team to support continued expansion of an additional five greenhouses.
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current food safety standard.
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Operations Experience
• A comprehensive understanding of lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Be knowledgeable of safety (OSHA), quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
• Computer literacy
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• BS degree in a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
