Position Purpose
Vivent Health continues to grow at a rapid pace. Our operations usually are located in metropolitan areas requiring a focus on safety and security of our clients, patients, and employees. The Director of Safety and Security is responsible for the development, implementation, and operations of Vivent Health’s safety and security physical measures, policies, and practices to minimize potential impact of criminal risk and ensure an exemplary level of security, fire, and life safety protection in locations across the enterprise.

Vivent Health is one of the nation’s largest providers of HIV prevention, care and treatment services with a budget approaching $260 million and employing over 550 professionals.
The unique, nationally recognized Vivent Health HIV Medical home model of care assures that everyone with HIV has access to medical, dental, mental health and social services and provides the best opportunity for patients to achieve high quality health outcomes. Vivent Health also provides aggressive HIV prevention services to gay men, injection drug users and others at the highest risk for HIV infection.
Vivent Health currently operates in multiple states nationwide. It embraces a Market Culture to increase access to care, enhance quality outcomes, achieve and surpass financial performance expectations and has an aggressive plan to expand into additional states.
Essential Functions:
Reporting to Executive VP and CFO, the Director of Safety and Security will provide support to all clients, patients, and employees by establishing and providing related education and training for staff. Continued evaluation and monitoring of safety and security equipment, oversight of relevant vendors and tracking incidents. Introductions of new security measures to minimize further safety and security incidents. Primary purpose to ensure staff feel safe and secure in their work and environment for continued delivery of high-quality care and services for inhouse and outreach services.
