Director of Marketing (Vision Care) Alcon Canada Vision Care is looking for a Marketing Director for their full portfolio of brands, which are marketed to Eye Care Professionals, Pharmacists and Consumers.

Lead the overall local marketing team to deliver on share, revenue and operating income goals for brands marketed in the Vision Care Business Unit of Alcon Canada.
Lead development of the short
– and long-term portfolio strategy, which includes a suite of brands targeted to Eye Care Professionals, Pharmacists, Retailers and Consumers.
Manage, coach and train a team of marketers to create strategies and tactics that deliver on annual brand operating goals and set the stage for future growth.
Lead the annual brand planning process for the Marketing team, integrating sales planning and professional affairs.
Develop strategies to cover the right mix for key brands in each of the channels, including eye care professionals, optometry buying groups and retailers, food/drug/mass/warehouse retailers and directly to consumers.
Deliver strong, relevant commercial programs that drive influence for Alcon product recommendations based on consumer and customer insights.
Execute new product launches to accelerate growth.
Partner with Global Marketing teams to collaborate on launch timings and resource allocation and ensure strategy and tactical execution of new product launches is strong.
Introduce product innovation that strengthens customer brand/consumer brand adoption, particularly in the digital arena.
Optimize promotional offerings to increase penetration of portfolio to customers and provide improved offerings to win new business 6.
Seek financial improvements, including pricing, mix, promotions, ROI on marketing and promotional expenditures.
Evolve ways of working to enable marketing and sales force executional excellence.
Ensure voice of field and customer is being incorporated.
Embed Alcon’s culture priorities and build inclusion behaviors to drive favourable business outcomes.
Enhance team development to drive performance and engagement OTHER: The person needs to have strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and the ability to gain organizational alignment across various stakeholders to achieve strong results.
Travel as needed up to 25% of time.
