What you’ll do at Position Summary… What you’ll do… Assistant Manager, Content Coordination- WEC (Ad Fellow) This position is open only to Ad Fellow participants. Partnering with the top brands in the world, the Creative team at Walmart Connect produces executions that are audience-led, insights-driven, measurable, on-brand, and ultimately lead to a memorable experience for the end-user. We care about the user experience and design creative solutions that will be useful and delightful for them while also delivering against brands’ objectives/KPIs.The Assistant Manager – Content Coordination will collaborate with a team of strategists, program managers, art directors, and designers to create best-in-class creative presentation content for Walmart’s creative advertising team. This person is a talented storyteller with a pulse on advertising trends, design solutions and can help build effective narratives for multiple audiences.The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and optimistic individual who is passionate about advertising, isn’t afraid to pitch new ideas, asks questions, and works well in a tight knit team environment. You have strong presentation skills, thoughtful copy point of view and are equally passionate about the planning and execution of ideas. This role is right for you if you are an innovative thinker, open to feedback, and thrive in the unknown. Key Responsibilities: Communicate and follow up with cross functional team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project alignment. Proactively stay up to date on industry trends, the competitive landscape and propose how we incorporate it into external facing pitches/presentations. Organize and facilitate trainings to key internal stakeholders Contribute to creative thought leadership. Actively participate in brainstorming and working sessions with cross-functional teams. Provide support for day-to-day functions and email communications. Ensure projects are delivered with both Walmart and partner brands in mind. Manager’s Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of creative/project management/strategy experience, especially in omni channel, multi-brand retail industry. College degree; BA or BFA preferred in advertising, business or related fields Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a plus. Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently in a very fast paced environment, ensuring that quality deliverables are achieved on time. Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines. Enjoys working with others and collaborating with positive attitude. Exceptional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal. The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated, managing projects effectively.
