JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide leadership in the ETL and the Data Integration space, from the requirements phase through delivery

Perform planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of technical activities related to ETL-based applications

Establish best practices on ETL, ELT, database designs / SQL across the organization

Proven strength in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into the application and operational requirements

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills with proven strength in applying root-cause analysis

Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels

Dedicated to excellence in one’s work; strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and thorough

Able to prioritize work by dividing time, attention, and effort between current project workload and ongoing support tasks

Ability to solve technical challenges faced by the team

Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements

The incumbent must –

Strong Data Leader with over 12 years of experience handling multiple and complex Informatica projects.

Hands-on experience with data platform development and production support engagements.

In-depth knowledge and strong experience in Informatica.

Good understanding of ETL and ELT best practices and experience with ETL and ETL Mapping documentation.

Experience in Data Modelling and Data Warehousing tools and technologies

Strong scripting skills in Perl and Bash, Unix commands, and Shell Scripting

Leadership Skills, Mentoring, Onsite/Offshore

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies

Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
