Here’s our story: Department Overview Seasoned experience; ideally a combination of: talent acquisition and HR with time working with early talent populations either in an academic setting or in a recruitment or student program-based role Strong external research capabilities with the ability to aggregate trends and data in order to create meaningful insights and recommendations Proven ability in developing and deploying a vision and aligning others to that vision Strong financial acumen and the ability to apply sound judgement and leadership for business case formulation Ability to prioritize and react quickly within a rapidly changing environment Strong communicator with honed presentation skills who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees effectively Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated and self-disciplined, proven ability to work effectively and guide others in the absence of direct supervision A strong positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively to many different types of audiences Clear team orientation and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve common goals Job Description Associate Vice-President, Early Talent, you will partner with the TA team and across the Bank in Canada and the US to create the blueprint for TD’s Academic partnership model where you will build a roadmap to align TD’s key capabilities and talent objectives with the right programs across post-secondary institutions.

The general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following: Build a strategy that deepens our academic partnerships with students, Career Centres, and Faculty both for talent attraction and classroom industry participation across post-secondary institutions Partnering with TA leaders, HR colleagues, and business leaders, to effectively build and execute early talent solutions inclusive of DEI goals across the organization Serve as subject matter expert on market intelligence in the post-secondary space by keeping abreast of current and emerging industry trends Working with our Social Media and Market Insights team, Talent Management, external research, and the business to align our talent acquisition efforts with the right academic programs, and messages to attract the best talent, based on the identified capabilities and talent objectives Building KPIs on school engagement to track and measure our activities and regularly assess the ROI to make recommendations on investment Partnering with Campus Recruiters and business teams on the creation of school events and on-campus engagement to best position TD, and our employer brand both on campuses and through other student channels Creating a TD network of Campus Champions and campus recruitment playbook to ensure colleagues are equipped with program information, calendar of events and key recruitment marketing material to ensure our message is consistent and far reaching across colleagues and students across geographies Contribute to overall TA strategy as it relates to candidate experience and innovation for all early talent hiring including co-ops, interns, and graduate US coverage to be determined Requirements Undergraduate degree with over 10 years of relevant experience Graduate degree is an asset Sound understanding and working experience of multiple HR domains including the policies, programs, processes and systems Proficiency in software tools, MS Office, and internet application A solid communicator with the ability to make an impact, influence, negotiate and build positive working relationships at the executive and senior executive levels A dynamic decision maker who can exercise discretion in handling confidential matters A dedicated and committed leader with demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced work environment through strong communication, organizational, planning and time management skills Additional Information LI-HYBRID CTOCareers Hours 37.5 Inclusiveness At TD, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
