Job Description

We are seeking an innovative, collaborative, Senior Software Developer to join our software products group. The Software Product Groups develops cloud and packaged software for use by IMAGINiT customers. This position is focused on development of integration and automation libraries, as well as some desktop development. The position will take a leading role in the in the design and development process for new and existing products.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will create impact by:

• Translating requirements into robust implemented applications
• Leading the design and planning process
• Accurately estimating level-of-effort
• Leading the development effort on IMAGINiT Software Products
• Producing required technical documentationContributing best practices and lessons learned for the team.

Development Skills

• Significant experience in Windows-based Development (front-end and back-end)
• Develop quality code and deliverables, utilizing best practices and processes
• Product ownership capabilities
• Communicate with stakeholders, and occasionally customers
• Develop new products and features, but also maintain various existing products

Remote Work

• Ability to work productively in a remote/home environment
• Ability to collaborate with team members in a primarily-remote team / cross-timezone team
• You may also be able to work in one of the 40+ IMAGINiT offices, if you choose.

Hours

• 40+ hours per week, with a high degree of flexibility. Deadline-driven
• Occasional travel for industry conferences

Travel

• 1-2 weeks per year

Qualifications

WHAT SETS YOU APART?

• BS in computer science, engineering or mathematics
• Experience in our customers’ industries: Architecture/Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing
• Self-starting, energetic, fast learner and motivated individual who works well in a small and distributed environment
• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions, departments, cultures, geographies and time zones
• Proven excellence in written & verbal communication & organizational skills
• Has worked within a small team of developers with source control tools and formalized development methodology.
• Ability to manage multiple duties and projects.
• 7+ years of experience developing and delivering software applications, particularly with C# and .NET
• Experience with CAD and/or Document Management APIs
• Experience with Web Services (server or client side)
• Experience with SaaS development or cloud-based approaches.
