This travel-tech company is looking for an individual who is ready to take on the role of Senior Director of Data Science.

In this role, you will help the growth of the company with your ability to direct a team through the generation and execution of problem statements, project management, as well as team growth.

THE ROLE : This individual has a strong quantitative background in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Sciences, or Engineering.

In this role, the Senior Director of Data Science will have a strong managerial mindset with the ability to do hands-on work when necessary.

Grow and lead a team of data scientists through the design, building, synthesizing, and presentation of robust analyses Mentor the professional development of direct reports, managers, and ICs through coaching and performance management Gather, organize and interpret structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources Proven ability to manage and present multiple projects and datasets for inter-team communication and stakeholders Directing product analytics and experimentation projects Transformational leadership while being hands-on with 10% of the data YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Expert knowledge of a scientific computing language (such as Python or R) and SQL Strong applicable experience in statistics and machine learning, empowering organizations by making data as well-structured and self-serve as possible Previous experience working with product analytics and experimentation projects Leadership experience with analytical and technical problem-solving Proven ability to lead projects to completion and collaborate seamlessly with others A self-starter with the ability to operate effectively and with autonomy in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to present to stakeholders with rigorous execution and high impact THE BENEFITS: You can earn between $190,000
– $200,000 plus bonus, equity, a 401(k) plan with a matching program, medical coverage, and 100% paid dental and vision insurance.
