You’ll tap into your experience within Java, JavaScript, Spring, and related tools and

technologies to aid in the construction of web-based interactive applications including complex

processing, interactions with relational databases and integration with external systems. You’ll

also participate in code review activities, development of unit tests and completing bug fixes.

Must Have List

? 3-5 or more years of Information Technology development experience

? Advanced knowledge of Core Java 8 (SE) and JEE

? Solid understanding of JSP, JSF, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring Boot.

? Experience with service-oriented architectures & developing and consuming SOAP

and/or RESTful web services

? Proficient with relational database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server

? Experienced within the full software development lifecycle

? Experienced with Maven, Gradle, ANT, and jUnit automation tools

? Ability to conduct and participate in peer code reviews

? Proven experience writing high quality object-oriented code

? Strong unit testing experience

? Excellent desktop and productivity tools skills, including Office & Visio (or similar)

? Very strong written and oral communication skills

? Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, and excellent

presentation skills

? Ability to effectively work both autonomously as well as on a team

? Demonstrated experience mentoring and providing technical and architectural guidance

to team members

? BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Desired, But Not Required

? Exposure with HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML and JavaScript / jQuery

? Exposure in working with Angular/Typescript, Vue, or React

? Business Insurance knowledge

? Exposure to Kubernetes

? Exposure to Kotlin

? Exposure to Python

? Business rules inferencing engine experience

? ACORD knowledge

? Consulting experience

? Background working in an Agile methodology to develop software

? Knowledge of ODM rules
