What you will learn and contribute to As a Software Developer in the Network Automation Platform team, your role will be to provide secure and efficient platform services in the areas of security, authentication, storage, messaging, registry and databases in a cloud native environment.
You will be responsible to provide the R&D community with the best technologies available in those areas.
You will continuously analyze the existing systems, identify areas to improve, propose solutions and implement them.
You will also assist and mentor members of the R&D community to help them adopt and use those newest technologies.
As part of our team, you will: Be responsible for feature requirement analysis, estimates, design, implementation, unit test & automation of NSP platform features.
Prepare design documentation according to feature specifications.
Use best practice development methodologies to ensure high quality software before hand-off to QA.
Support internal and external customers by troubleshooting and resolving defects.
Your skills and experience You have: Experience developing, testing and maintaining software written in Java Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, OpenStack Experience with security concepts: PKI, Certificates, TLS, Authentication Experience working with Linux, Vagrant, Git, GitLab, Gradle, Jenkins Experience with software development methodologies and best practices Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment Qualifications Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Proficient in exploring, evaluating and integrating new technologies.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability and desire to learn new languages and technologies.
Excellent at collaborating with cross-functional teams with a customer focus attitude.
