The company’s business platform features our all-star family of brands, including 1-800-Flowers.com, Harry & David, Personalization Mall, Cheryl’s Cookies, Shari’s Berries, The Popcorn Factory, and FruitBouquets.com. The Recruiter will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and lead full cycle recruiting for Corporate positions across our family of brands. Experience recruiting for IT positions strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
· Manage full lifecycle recruiting process, including screening resumes, interviewing candidates, providing assessment feedback to hiring managers and the Vice President of Human Resources, and presenting offers
· Effectively assess applicant qualifications by pre-screening applicants, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements, and evaluating culture/team fit
· Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, and vocational schools; organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
· Leverage online recruiting resources, recent market developments, social media and other business resources to build talent pipeline
· Provide a high-quality experience for every potential candidate through effective communication and consistent follow-through
· Track and report on hires per week for management and other reports as requested
Skills and Qualifications
· Sales recruiting experience strongly preferred
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· 3-5 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment required
· Roll up your sleeves mentality required; self-motivated to exceed expectations and drive results; ability to work independently
· Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in strategy development and appropriate problem-solving methods
· Ability to build rapport quickly, take a consultative approach and advise hiring managers and interviewers on recruiting best practices
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
